LMLGA Executive 2016/2017

The Executive Board is composed of 11 elected local government officials representing all members of the association. The LMLGA Executive meets on a monthly basis in Burnaby, at the Metro Vancouver offices, and is elected annually at the Annual General Meeting held in May every year.

Executive meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month except for July, August and December from 11:30-2:00 pm at the Metro Vancouver RD Offices (4330 Kingsway, Burnaby).

Councillor Jason Lum                                    President (Interim)

Councillor Jason Lum is serving in his second term as a Councillor and was first elected to the LMLGA board in May 2012. He serves on a variety of committees for the City of Chilliwack and is the Chair of LMLGA's Flood Control and River Management Committee.
 
 
 
 
 
 
Councillor Corisa Bell
President (On Temporary Leave)
A second-term Councillor and dedicated to public service, you'll frequently find Corisa volunteering and devoting time to functions and events throughout the District of Maple Ridge. The decision to run for Council was a natural progression in her desire to both serve and better the community. Passionate, dedicated, and committed to everything she takes on in life, Corisa is honoured to have been elected by her peers to represent LMLGA.
 
   

Councillor Rick Glumac
First Vice-President
Rick Glumac is a second-term councillor and was first elected to the LMLGA board in 2013.  He serves as chair of the Environmental Protection Committee and Community Care Committee for the city of Port Moody.  He also serves on the Fraser Health Municipal Government Advisory Council and the Metro Vancouver Zero Waste Committee.

 

   

Mayor Wilfried Vicktor
Third Vice-President
Mayor Vicktor serves the District of Hope and was elected as Third Vice-President of LMLGA at the May AGM. 

Councillor Chuck Puchmayr
Past President
Chuck Puchmayr is co-chair of the Flood and River Management Committee for LMLGA. He is an active member of his community, where he volunteers for a number of philanthropic organizations.He is  the founder of A Beef with Hunger Society, an organization that raises beef and produce for food banks, community schools and local non-profit meal providers. He was first elected to Council in 1996 and is a recipient of the Queens Diamond Jubilee medal.

Councillor Sue Attrill

Councillor Attrill serves on City of Chilliwack Council and was elected as Director at Large on the LMLGA Executive at the May AGM.

Director at Large
Councillor Gill serves on City of Surrey Council and was elected as Director at Large on the LMLGA Executive at the May AGM.
   
 
Councillor Angie Quaale
Director at Large
Councillor Quaale serves on Township of Langley Council and was elected as Director at Large on the LMLGA Executive at the May AGM.
 
   
 
Director Ray Boucher
FVRD Representative
Ray was born in New Westminster, graduated from Centennial High in Coquitlam and furthered his education at Simon Fraser University.Ray’s passion for giving back and leadership led him to the position as Fire Captain for the Coquitlam Fire Rescue. After 34 years on the force, Ray retired and is currently the FVRD director for Electoral Area F.Ray is also the Vice President of the BC Professional Fire Fighters Burn Fund, a member of the Hatzic Prairie Recreation Commission and on the Sasquatch Lions Club.
   
Councillor Raymond Louie
Metro Vancouver Representative
Councillor Louie was first elected to the Vancouver City Council in 2002. He has also served on numerous boards including the BC Municipal Finance Authority, TransLink and Metro Vancouver. He currently represents Metro Vancouver on the LMLGA Executive.
 
 
 
 
Councillor Jack Crompton
SLRD Representative
Jack Crompton has deep roots in Whistler and is passionate about the future of his community. Jack's professional life has focused mainly on transportation and software. He founded Whistler Resort Cabs and is now President of RideBooker; a company that offers ground transportation across Canada and the United States. Jack likes to talk politics of any description. He is fascinated by political history, local government and international affairs.
